Harshad Chopda rules roast today and he is definitely among the top three most popular superstar we have today . He is one of the very few actor who guarantees terrific TRP for show. To date only one show of Harshad has flopped and that is Dharampatni and rightfully it deserved to be flop so. Despite the emerging popularity of new bracket stars and his competitors such as likes of Sushant Singh Rajput, Ravi Dubey, Karan Singh Grover and Karanvir Bohra,  this 29 years old man is still going super strong. Here's look at his journey.

Harshad started his career with Zee TV's Mamta in 2006. He portrayed main negative character in the show. In the same year he also featured in a Bengali movie called Bondhu Amar. His breakthrough role come in the very year with Left Right Left. Though the show was a multistarer with Rajeev Khandelwal being the face value of show but Harshad made a great impact in the show. Harshad played the role of an young cadet who lives his life by his own principles. The show gave him shot in arm.

After sometime Harshad wanted to live Left Right Left as he felt nothing was left much to do in the show for him . Even though the makers of the show gave him permission  to let him go and gave him verbal permission  as they thought he won't get any show but eventually he got Amber Dhara in which he played parallel lead . He played the role of fun loving friend and the his character become an instant hit. However , the things didn't look for this young man as this did not go well with the makers of Left Right Left as they put him in trouble by saying that he breached the contact and due to this poor Harshad had to left the show. And then he had again join Left Right Left but the jealous makers ended his character after few days. Harshad become very upset with the makers of the show and the makers eventually made false claims and due to this he had to struggle a lot as the production house of Left Right Left was very big .

Harshad had said that he learnt that never trust anyone's word and always get things on paper.

In year 2008, Harshad got an opportunity to play main lead in India's number one telivision production's Balaji show. The show was named Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil. Harshad Chopda's character Prem was initially an extended cameo and he entered in 11th episode and the character had to die after 100 episodes . But due to sky rocketing popularity of Harshad Chopda, the makers had to forcefully keep him in the show. Prem become heartthrob of all ladies. The show was a blockbuster and it put Harshad Chopda in the league of Ronit Roy. His pairing with Aditi Gupta become sensation and they are still remembered today as evergreen Prem and Heer. The show ended in 2010.

He also played a special appearance in Kahani Hamare Mahabharat Ki.

After Kis Desh.......... ended , he got another opportunity to play main lead in Balaji's Tere Liye. Ekta had said ," For Anurag , I always thought Harshad has a sense of stability without being bland. You know, a lot of few very few actors easily actors hold aggressions and actors who are silent sometimes come across bland. Harshad is one of the few new faces who can hold silence without looking bland. He is , as we know, hugely popular, has a huge female fanbase ". The show opened with bumper ratings and was getting bumper TRP ratings. The serial despite being a mega hit , had to end abruptly due to a feud between Ekta Kapoor and channel .

Recently , Harshad was last seen in Dharampatni. The show has flopped but Harshad has shown his range in the show by playing spoilt brat who later falls in love with his wife. Makers of Dharampatni had said that they casted Harshad just to cash on the sensational popularity of him among the ladies. According to rumours , Harshad will be now seen in Life Ok's most popular show Saubhagyavati Bhava. According to reports , he will play the role of rowdy protagonist who will save female lead Jhanvi from evil Viraj.

Ekta recently has also banned Harshad and Additi Gupta because the fans of both spammed her so badly in her social media to cast both together that Ekta has decided to ban the actors.

In fact, on Wednesday, she put up a status on her Facebook page that read like this … "dear harshad aditi fans, I dnt knw if u guys wl get this msg but it’s imperative I somehow reach u guys! It’s been 5 years u guys hv hounded me ! spamin my inbox my phone n twitter...just because of this I pROMISE NEVER to cast these 2 ACTORS! forgeT casting them togethEr!THANKU!"(sic)

She also went on to add … " I had uday sir frm star ceo asia cal me to tel thm to stp houndin him! I was like iif I knew I'd kill them (sic)… This was in reference to messages and mails being sent to Star Network CEO Uday Shankar."

Colors’ Fiction Programming Head Prashant Bhatt too went ahead to comment on Ekta’s status, …. "They hv been hounding me as well !!! Bunch of loosers !! Dont they hv a life ?!" (sic)
